TERMS AND CONDITIONS
REGISTRATION TERM:
When registering for classes, your payments will be configured for the current session that is running. Sessions are 12 weeks long in the Fall, Winter & Spring and 9 weeks in the summer. If you are enrolling mid-session, your cost will be prorated.
EARLY CANCELLATION:
When registering for classes, you are committing to a session of classes (12 weeks for Fall, Winter and Spring and 9 weeks for Summer). All notices of mid-session cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected] prior to the following month's payment being processed. Because a spot has been held in class for your dancer for the entire session, any notification of cancellation after a payment has been processed will not qualify for a refund regardless of attendance status. When withdrawing from a session early, you are also foregoing any make up classes available from missed dates that session.
PRIORITY REGISTRATION:
When enrolled in classes you will participate in Priority Registration where we will reserve your day and time and continue monthly payments in the upcoming session automatically unless you tell us via email or on a priority registration form that you'd like to make a change. Deposits for classes are non-refundable once classes begin as they have been used to hold your spot in class. Payments for class dates in the past are non-refundable regardless of attendance status.
MAKE UP CLASSES:
Your dancer is allowed to attend up to 4 classes per session for missed classes. You must schedule a make up class via our website so that we can anticipate your attendance and do not overfill classes. We require 24 hours notice for make up classes. Make up classes may not carry over into future sessions.
PROPER ATTIRE:
To participate in classes, we require proper shoes. Tap shoes are required for classes containing tap, ballet shoes are required for classes containing ballet or jazz and sneakers or ballet shoes can be worn for Bella Broadway classes. Bella Beats classes require converse style sneakers. There is no color requirement for dance apparel but students must wear a leotard and tights for class. The only exception is Bella boppers which are welcome to wear whatever attire is comfortable and allows them to move freely.
CAMPS:
When registering for camps, a deposit may be required. This deposit is to hold your spot in the camp as it may not take place for several months. If a camp reservation is cancelled, the deposit is non-refundable. Any remainder for your camp payment will be automatically processed up to 72 hours before camp begins. Once camp payments have been processed they will become non-refundable. You may use deposits made to transfer to an alternate camp date in the same session should a schedule conflict arise.
RECITALS:
Payment is due for recital registration at the time of purchase. Once registered, we can not refund your purchase, as costumes will be ordered for your dancer. Should you no longer wish to be enrolled in a recital after registration, we will credit your account for future services minus the cost of the costume ($85). Late recital registrations will include a fee of $30 to cover the costs of rush shipping & packing a costume separately.
APPAREL PURCHASE RETURN POLICYDue to the nature of dancewear, returns and exchanges are not permitted. Please take advantage of our boutique and try on items before purchase. Should an item be defective, please bring it to our attention.
DANCE ALL YEAR TERMS & CONDITIONS TERMS:
Dance All Year is a one (1) year contract between a student and Bella Ballerina dance studio. A student must commit to 4 sessions of Bella Ballerina Dance Classes in any 1 year period. Monthly billing cycles will be automatically charged to the credit card securely stored in our software for a period of 12 months for the sessions chosen. All accounts will be charged an additional $25 if for any reason a credit card is denied or expires. The Dance All Year contract is always billed at a flat monthly rate regardless of age group and your price will remain the same for 12 consecutive months. If the prices of classes change during your contract, your fee will be increased appropriately at the beginning of your next Dance All Year annual cycle.
WHAT IS COVERED:
Dance All Year contracts can only be used for Bella Ballerina Dance Classes (ballet, jazz & tap combination classes) and can not be applied to Bella Buddhi, Bella Beats or Bella Broadway classes. We can not substitute other class styles or summer camps for your monthly payments. Terminating or postponing your Dance All Year contract to enroll in other dance styles will still be considered early termination and fees will apply.
EARLY TERMINATION:
If for any reason, you decide to terminate your Dance All Year contract, you must provide written notice 30 days in advance. Dance All Year is a discounted enrollment program from the regular retail price. Terminating your contract early means repayment of the discounts you've received. Terminating a contract early will incur a cancellation fee of $200 for discounts received and updating of your account. These fees may be waived if you are terminating due to moving 30 or more miles away from your current address. You must show written proof of your new address to terminate without associated fees. Prepayment or payment in full of a Dance All Year contract will not be refunded for any reason regardless of early termination qualification.
POSTPONEMENT OF A CONTRACT:
You must provide a written request if you need to postpone your dance all year package. Postponement may only be for one session (three consecutive monthly payment cycles), otherwise is considered termination of contract and fees will be applied. All will be considered on a case by case basis where Bella Ballerina has the option to accept or deny postponement. A $50 postponement fee will be applied when the contract is adjusted. Anytime a postponement occurs, your contract will be extended by one session so that a full year of dance still occurs.
Registration of the Dance All Year program indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions as well as monthly automated payments to the card you have provided and is securely kept on file in our system.
MISSED PAYMENT FEES:
Should a payment fail, both the customer and the studio are notified by our software, StudioLab. The customer has 48 hours to rectify the missed payment. After 48 hours, a missed payment fee of $25 will be incurred. Please notify us if there is an outstanding reason why your payment cannot be made (i.e., hardship, waiting for new debit card). If a missed payment remains outstanding after 3 weeks with no attempts at communication from the family, the student’s spot in class will be forfeited.
